Sustainability starts at your doorstep. When trying to define Sustainable Living – definitions such as – “Sustainable living is a lifestyle that attempts to reduce an individual’s or society’s use of carbon footprint, energy consumption” can be found.
Sustainability is the present and the future – we tend to be caught up what we want today and forget about the future and our next generation.
For me it is crucial that it becomes a “way of live” and the way of living together in a supportive manner within a community/neighborhood/society.
Design – I believe it is crucial that the design of buildings reflect and respect the LOCAL surroundings – also be proud where we live and shop and support the economy locally.
